The Human Trafficking Summit will bring together nationally recognized voices, advocates, and community leaders to educate and equip parents, educators, healthcare professionals, first responders, law enforcement, business owners, and anyone with a need to know, with the tools needed to recognize, prevent, and respond to human trafficking throughout NETN and SWVA,  the Rotary Club of Bristol, TN/VA and beyond. Headlining the event is Tim Tebow, a two-time national champion, former NFL player, bestselling author, and founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, which has become internationally known for its efforts to combat human trafficking and child exploitation through prevention, rescue, and survivor care initiatives. Joining Tim Tebow is Dave McCleary, a current member of the Anti-Human Trafficking White House Task Force, and a highly respected Rotary International anti-slavery champion, focused on community awareness and action, along with Josh Loaiza of 3 Strands Global Foundation, an organization who partners with the Rotary Action Group Against Slavery (RAGAS) and is dedicated to trafficking prevention, education, and survivor support. They will also be joined by Peter Donovan, Dr. Ashley Poklar, Sabrina Dorman-Andrew, Haley Griffith, Marc Pritchett, and Alexa Bast, who are all major movers in the anti-human trafficking space. Together, these speakers will address one of the fastest-growing  issues affecting communities across the NETN and SWVA Region, with a special focus on awareness, education, digital safety, prevention strategies, and empowering families to better protect vulnerable children. The whole purpose of this summit is to awaken everyone to the horrific evil of human trafficking and child exploitation that is taking place in the NETN and SWVA Region.

Monday, July 27th 2026 @ 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Rotary Human Trafficking Summit was designed to educate, prevent, and increase awareness about the pervasive human trafficking issues facing the NETN and SWVA Region. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), Northeast Tennessee accounts for up to 50% of the human trafficking cases reported across the state of Tennessee! And it's only getting worse. Predators are luring our kids out by communicating with them online through video games, social media, and other popular apps. Sadly, the majority of these kidnapping cases could have been avoided with simple monitoring and safety measures. This summit will empower parents with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to protect their children against these dangers, online AND offline.

It's easy to assume that human trafficking only happens in big cities, but the truth is the NETN and SWVA Region is one of the worst areas in the nation for human trafficking cases. Let's end it now! Join us at Meadowview Convention Center in Kingsport, TN, on Monday, 7/27 @ 8:00 AM, and bring friends and family who would benefit from this message. Together, we can END human trafficking in the NETN and SWVA region.
